It is the holes round the turn that help make this place so special. The short par 3 12th downhill, over water into a green surrounded by landscaped and manicured gardens is somewhere you could sit all day and just watch.

Druids Glen is sometimes referred to as "The Augusta of Europe". The flora and fauna of the Glen provide a colourful backdrop to a magnificent golf course and even if the golf is not going well, the walk alone is worth the cost of the round!

The par 4 13th, stroke index 1, still remains as one of the hardest holes we have ever played – ignoring some links holes where the wind makes things impossible. You play from an elevated tee to a flat fairway which doglegs right. There is a stream to the right of the fairway and a cliff on the left. If you have hit your Sunday best drive you then have a wooden club, or at the very least, a long iron over a lake into a narrow green guarded by two trees. It really is something very special – unless you are leading a Championship or have a medal card in your hand!
