It is most unusual to have three Golf Clubs of the stature of West Hill, Worplesden and Woking all having holes adjacent to each other (although you would never know) and all approaching from different directions. Each of these courses has its merits and because of the location they all have heather.Woking Golf Club is the oldest of them all and in some ways quite unique.

The pavilion style club house is different, with charm, and it has more than enough to challenge even the most accomplished golfer. During 2007/08 the course was lengthened by the introduction of 'black' tees so that it now measures 6555 yards with a par of 70 and a SSS of 72 from the back tees.

The recently installed fairway watering system has visibly improved the condition of the fairways and the reputation of this club moves forward in leaps and bounds. Our personal favourite hole is the reachable dog leg par 5 14th. The green is right in front to the clubhouse and we just wondered if some re –routing could have made this the finishing hole.
